Chris is an intelligent, astute and ambitious Coach that we feel can and will manage at the highest level and I am absolutely delighted to be working with him. He has worked extremely hard in getting Oxford United back into the football league and I'm sure he will go onto to have further success at the club in the future.

Chris Wilder Joins ISM

We are delighted to announce that Chris Wilder, the highly regarded and talented manager of Oxford United has joined the ISM stable.

Chris enjoyed a diverse career as a footballer playing for clubs such as Sheffield United, Charlton Athletic and Rotherham United.

His management career began at Alfretown Town, where he led the club to four trophies within 27 weeks. He then moved on to manage Halifax Town and did so for six years until their liquidation.

Now at Oxford United, Chris led them to play-off final success last season, returning the club to its football league status.  His success has not gone unnoticed and he is building his reputation as being a very astute upcoming manager.
