Connor is an assured young defensive player with an attacking edge to his game. He has a strong athletic frame and his abilities as a player are matched in equal measure by his mental strength and desire to succeed.

Connor spent a significant portion of his youth career at Liverpool where he was recognized internally and by other clubs as being one of the top defenders in his age group in the country. A leader by example, Connor captained his side at various age groups whilst at Liverpool.

In Summer 2010, in recognition of his potential, Stoke City completed the purchase of Connor from Liverpool, despite there being interest from other Premier League Academies.

Connor is excited by the fresh challenge set before him at Stoke City and he will now look to continue his development as he seeks to secure his first professional contract.
