Chris is an extremely talented manager continuing to make a name for himself in club management at Oxford United.

Chris had a long playing career playing for clubs such as Sheffield United, Charlton Athletic and Rotherham United.

He moved into management in 2001 when he took over the reigns at Alfreton Town. During his management he lead the club to four trophies within a 27-week tenure.

Chris' then joined Halifax Town, managing the club for 6 years in total and overseeing over 300 games - until the club was liquidated in 2008.

After a brief spell as Assistant Manager at Bury, he was appointed Head Coach of Oxford United in December 2008. In his first year in-charge he and his team marginally missed out on the play-offs. However, in the next season, Chris made sure of that play-off spot and went further by making the final and beating York City to gain promotion back to the football league.

Chris is developing a reputation for himself of being a very astute manager and this season he will be hoping to make Oxford United an established side in the football league once again.
