Aislan is a highly regarded young Centre Back who until April 2010 played for Sao Paulo in Brazil.

At just 22 years old and 6'4, Aislan is a strong, commanding defender that has terrific technical ability and agility for someone so tall.

In 2008, Liverpool FC were unable to agree a transfer fee with Sao Paulo so he remained in Brazil for the completion of his contract.

Despite being offered a new three year deal, Aislan will move clubs following his departure from Sao Paulo as he wishes to pursue his overseas aspirations.
