Experienced Honduras international centre half, Osman's form resulted in an offer from Portsmouth FC but due to restrictions placed on the club, he was unable to finalise his move to the south coast club.

However, his stock may be set to rise again once he's appeared in this summer’s World Cup in South Africa. A regular during the qualifying stages, he was instrumental to his national side’s World Cup first qualification to the finals since 1982.

Osman is a gentleman and top professional off the pitch but fiercely competitive on it.  He is an extremely strong, tough-tackling defender who excels in the air.  Ultimately, it’s the consistency of his performances both for his national side and native club side, Platense that has seen him attract the interest of a broad range of European scouts.

At just 25-years of age, Osman is approaching the peak of his career as a central defender and secured a move to Europe in the summer of 2010.
